Biography:  Dr. Frese grew up in Miller, Nebraska on a cattle feeding and irrigated farming operation and received his B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1997.  He returned home and fed cattle and farmed with his family before returning to school to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University.  Dan graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a concurrent Certificate in Feedlot Production Medicine.  He worked in private beef cattle practice from 2003-2011 as well as a feedlot owner/manager.  He completed the Beef Cattle Production Management series in 2009.  In 2011, Dan returned to Kansas State to pursue a Ph.D. in Pathobiology at the Beef Cattle Institute.  He joined Feedlot Health in the fall of 2015 and works with the Animal Health team for clients throughout the cattle belt of the United States.
